This policy explains what happens to your data when you use HD Background Removal ("the Service"), a tool operated by Ai Guru. We've tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.

The images you upload

When you upload a photo, it's sent directly to our background-removal API to be processed. The image is held in memory only for as long as it takes to generate the cutout, and the processed result is streamed back to your browser. We do not save, back up, or retain the images you upload or the results you download — we don't have a gallery, history, or database of user photos. Please don't upload images that contain other people's sensitive personal information without their consent, since we have no way to review or moderate uploads before they're processed.

Information we collect automatically

Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how the Service is used — things like which pages are visited, how long a session lasts, approximate location (derived from IP address), and the type of browser or device in use. This data is aggregated and doesn't identify you personally. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

We show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Cookies

The Service uses a small amount of local browser storage to remember your display preference (light or dark mode) — this stays on your device and is never sent to us. Analytics and advertising partners set their own cookies as described above.

No accounts, no payments

HD Background Removal doesn't require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any payment information. We don't collect your name, email address, or payment details unless you choose to email us directly.

Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time as the Service evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
